Senator Akpakomiza Celebrates A Quintessential Monarch At 70

The Senator representing Edo Central Senatorial District, Edo State, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo (aka) Akpakomiza, has celebrated His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin, who clocked 70 years on October 20th, 2023.

The Chairman Senate Committee on Public Procurement in a statement in Uyo the Capital of Akwa-Ibom State, were he is participating in the ongoing Senate Retreat, said that the progressive reign of the revered Oba of Benin, has been a source of inspiration given his remarkable strides since ascending the throne of his forbears Seven Years ago.

*Senator Akpakomiza futher congratulated the quintessential monarch on the seventh anniversary of his coronation which coincided with his 70th birthday anniversary.*

The Senator said, “His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin, has exhibited the traits of a wise, peace-loving and benevolent ruler. His majestic ascension to the throne of his forefathers in October 20th, 2016, was a day the stars stood still for yet another great Oba of Benin as he assumed his responsibilities as the monarch of the Great Benin Kingdom. It was a day a new Benin nationalism and a new Benin ancestry was born. 

“I have carefully watched the quintessential Oba, listened to him keenly and admired his majestic finesse which he exuded in the last seven years on the throne.

“Today, I am basking in the euphoria that the great Benin nation is once again flourishing with a 21st century highly educated and internationally exposed quintessential monarch, who is sufficiently equipped with intellectual depth, moral highgrounds and spiritual dexterity to lead the modern Benin people to a greater heights.”

Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo (aka) Akpakomiza, who is one of the subjects of the revered first class royal father, joins millions of other subjects across the globe to wish the quintessential monarch an excellent health, unmatched wisdom and divine protection to continue to discharge his duties and lead the great Benin Kingdom to an era of undisputed progress and prosperity.
