Amid the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State, Governor Sim Fubara has introduced a live band to the scene.

The inauguration of Fubara’s live band took place shortly after his address during the commencement of the construction of 20,000 housing units in the Ikwere area of the state.

The live band captured the attention of the crowd as they joyfully sang, “Dey your day make I dey my dey, nobody worry nobody.”

Fubara’s introduction of a new live band comes in the midst of heightened political tensions in the state.

Notably, his predecessor and current FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, had a live band led by gospel artist Bamidele Abiye Adeek, also known as Sensational Bamidele, during his tenure as the governor of Rivers State.

This band was recognized for performing Igbo-themed music and delivering soothing songs for Wike, including the well-known ‘As e dey pain dem, e dey sweet us’ tune.

Bamidele mentioned that the inspiration for his songs usually stems from the events and atmosphere surrounding a particular occasion, as well as the mood of the governor.
