In a statement released Thursday night, titled “It’s Time to Make a Bold Statement,” Governor Makinde appealed to voters to support the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stressing that the party is well-positioned to resolve the nation’s pressing challenges. He emphasized that the PDP is the party capable of leading Nigeria out of its current economic difficulties, citing the successful governance in PDP-led states as a model.

“Let me encourage everyone in Ondo State to come out and make a bold statement this Saturday in the election,” Makinde said. “Let us show our collective frustration with the APC and its ineffective policies. It’s time for Nigerians to unite behind the PDP to address the country’s economic struggles.”

Makinde further reminded the people that the election in Ondo is a test of the nation’s resolve to bring about real change, driven by the people’s anger and aspirations for a better future. He pointed to the PDP’s recent initiatives, such as the “Budget of Economic Stabilisation,” as evidence of the party’s commitment to the people.
