Solve Hunger And Electricity Crises To Prevent Massive Protest, Primate Ayodele Warns Tinubu (Details)

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has urged President Bola Tinubu to address the hunger and electricity problems in the country to prevent an impending massive protest that will affect every sector.

Primate Ayodele revealed that if there is no solution to economic hardship, the protest will occur between August and September 2024.

In a statement signed by his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele made it known that the protest would be bigger than the popular EndSARS protest because every Nigerian would participate to express their displeasure with the current administration.

He said, “President Tinubu, don’t allow another massive protest to occur; ensure there is food on the table of Nigerians. Take action to address inflation to prevent further unrest. I foresee another massive protest that will affect every quarter. If there is no improvement by August-September, it will be dire.”

Continuing, the prophet advised the president to declare a state of emergency on the economy and electricity sectors because neither is improving. He urged the president to focus on improving agriculture and to avoid propaganda, facing reality instead.

“President Tinubu should address the economic hardship now; he should also improve electricity because inadequate power supply will severely impact the economy. A state of emergency should be declared on electricity because there is no improvement. This issue will affect the Nigerian economy.

“The government should also enhance agriculture to prevent unnecessary hardship. There is much to be done to reduce the prices of food commodities. If not addressed promptly, there will be a massive protest. Propaganda will not help; they must face reality,” he added.
