Stop Distorting Facts About Businesses Leaving Nigeria – Peter Obi Receives Strong Warning
Reno Omokri, a provocative social commentator, offered his viewpoint on the Twitter discussion initiated by Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, regarding businesses departing Nigeria.

Omokri contended that these businesses were not leaving solely due to conditions in Nigeria but were facing challenges arising from global economic conditions.
Omokri gave his take on the issue in a tweet on Monday night, he said: “Peter Obi told so many lies in that #PeterObiOnParallelFacts space.
“Thame GlaxoSmithKline. They did not just leave Nigeria. They left India, Egypt, Kenya and other countries.
“India has one of the best economies in the world. Nigeria’s economy has just been upgraded by Standard and Poor’s and Moody’s. Yet, they shut down their plants in Nigeria and India.
“Why did GSK leave? Read their report. They left as part of their global strategy to re-jig their business model. It is now cheaper for them to produce in England and export to other nations.
“Obi lied. Heavy Gbajue!”
