Tears In Okpekpe: Obaseki Mourns Deadly Herdsmen Attack, Seeks Justice

In a statement issued by his media adviser, Crusoe Osagie, Obaseki described the attack as heartbreaking and called on security agencies to take urgent action in bringing the perpetrators to justice.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the deceased and the entire Okpekpe community during this difficult time. Such mindless violence should never be tolerated, and I urge security forces to respond swiftly to ensure justice is served,” he said.

Obaseki also emphasized the need for strengthened security measures to prevent further occurrences and guarantee lasting peace in Edo State.
