This announcement was made by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ayoola Shola, on Thursday in Ilorin. The officers will be responsible for safeguarding vital national infrastructure and ensuring the general security of residents throughout the festive period.

The personnel, who have been selected from various specialized units including the Armed Squad, Operation Harmony, Counter-Terrorism Unit, and the Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosive Unit (CBRNE), are deployed to strengthen security across the state.

The move is part of efforts to maintain peace and safety during the holiday season.
