The Governor particularly highlighted the ₦4.9 trillion allocated to defense in the budget titled “Budget of Restoration: Securing Peace, Rebuilding Prosperity,” which he said reflects Tinubu’s dedication to tackling insecurity.

Uzodimma also expressed appreciation for the significant investments in infrastructure development, emphasizing that such efforts are essential for sustaining economic growth. He noted that a secure society is vital for fostering business activities, which, in turn, contributes to prosperity.

“This budget reflects a leader who listens and acts on the concerns of the people,” Uzodimma stated. “By prioritizing security and infrastructure, President Tinubu is laying the groundwork for long-term economic growth and stability.”

Furthermore, Governor Uzodimma commended President Tinubu for fulfilling his constitutional duty by presenting the budget to the National Assembly and urged lawmakers to prioritize its swift passage.
