Bagheri emphasized that Iran’s response would escalate significantly if Israel were to retaliate against Iran. He made these remarks in an interview with Iranian state TV, underlining the gravity of the situation.

Furthermore, Hossein Salami, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), echoed similar sentiments, warning of retaliation against any Israeli attack on Iranian interests, officials, or citizens.

In response to these developments, Israeli officials have not yet made a decision regarding how to proceed. However, discussions on a potential response are expected to take place during a war cabinet meeting.
