John Bako-Ari, the Vice-Chairman of the Doma council area, confirmed the devastating incident, disclosing that it occurred on Tuesday, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Among the structures ravaged by the windstorm were Agbashi Central Mosque, a primary school, and various public buildings.

Expressing grief over the calamity, Anthony Oshinyeka, the acting Chairman of the Agbashi Development Association, described the situation as unfortunate and called upon the government to swiftly intervene. Urgent assistance in the form of relief materials and medical aid was requested to alleviate the suffering of the affected community members.
