Youths Rally Behind Atiku for 2027, Citing APC’s Failure to Ease Suffering
Group called Nigerian Youths for Atiku (NYFA) has expressed strong support for former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, positioning him as a likely contender for the 2027 presidential election. This came after a crucial meeting with leaders from various organizations across 28 states, all aligning their efforts behind Abubakar’s potential candidacy.
The meeting, which took place on Saturday, was described as a strategic move towards the 2027 elections. NYFA’s Director of Publicity, Mr. Dare Dada, emphasized the importance of uniting pro-Atiku groups across the country to ensure a strong showing in the next presidential race. He highlighted the belief among NYFA members that Abubakar is capable of providing the governance Nigeria needs.
The NYFA’s support for Abubakar stems from their dissatisfaction with the current administration. Dada pointed out that the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government has failed to alleviate the suffering of the masses, a sentiment that is driving support for Abubakar as the candidate who can bring about the necessary change.
Although Abubakar has not officially declared his candidacy, the growing momentum and support from NYFA and other groups suggest a strong base that could significantly influence the upcoming elections. The NYFA is optimistic that Abubakar will emerge victorious, offering hope to many Nigerians who are disillusioned with the current state of affairs.
