Edison Ehie, a contender for the Speakership seat in the Rivers State House of Assembly, praised the governor’s foresight in expanding infrastructure and promoting youth development through employment generation.

The budget presentation took place after the controversial demolition of the Assembly complex, with the Ehie-led group declaring vacant the seats of 27 members who defected from the PDP to the APC. The Speakership tussle between Ehie and Martins Amaewhule is currently in court.
