Speaking at the Nigerian Police Force’s end-of-year party organized by the Bauchi State Command, the Governor underscored the pivotal role of technology in effectively addressing criminal activities.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, Governor Mohammed praised the relentless efforts of the police and other security agencies in tackling security challenges across the state. He reiterated his administration’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for security operatives to carry out their duties effectively, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders.
Governor Mohammed emphasized that maintaining law and order is crucial for attracting investment opportunities and fostering economic development in the state. He expressed gratitude for being honored with an award of excellence by the police, affirming that the recognition will spur him to further enhance security services.
The Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, Auwal Musa Mohammed, described the award presented to the Governor as a token of appreciation for his administration’s substantial investment in ensuring peace and security statewide.
Additionally, the state’s first lady, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed, was recognized with an award of excellence for her advocacy against Gender-Based Violence, further highlighting the administration’s commitment to holistic security efforts.
