Breaking: Wike Enforces Major Shakeup, Suspends FCDA Boss Without Warning

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has indefinitely suspended the Executive Secretary of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Shehu Hadi Ahmad. Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jigawa State has reacted strongly to recent statements allegedly targeting former Jigawa State Governor and PDP founding member, Sule Lamido. The accusations, reportedly backed by Wike, have stirred frustration among PDP supporters in Jigawa and across Nigeria. PDP leader Muhammad Mago criticized the claims as a smear campaign orchestrated by Wike to create division within the PDP.

According to Mago, Lamido has a long-standing commitment to the PDP, having served as Jigawa’s governor from 2007 to 2015 and as Minister of Foreign Affairs under President Olusegun Obasanjo. He emphasized that Lamido remains dedicated to the party and the nation’s interests, dismissing Wike’s alleged provocations as divisive and harmful to party unity.
