Concerns Over Political Meeting

In a statement signed by its President, Ambassador Moses Oriri, JAD expressed concerns over a recent political gathering attended by these former leaders. The group urged authorities to closely monitor their activities and take necessary action if any destabilizing moves are detected.

Call for Vigilance

JAD also called on Nigerian citizens to remain alert against any attempts to incite public sentiment against the government, stressing that law enforcement must take decisive action to safeguard national stability.

The statement read:
“We have observed that these politicians’ concerns stem from President Bola Tinubu’s ongoing reforms, which are yielding positive results.

“Nigerians should remember that these individuals have held key leadership positions in the past during challenging times.”

The group also raised alarm over comments made during the meeting, particularly references to a “weak government,” which they believe could indicate an attempt to undermine national stability.

JAD, therefore, urged authorities to remain vigilant and take necessary measures to prevent any threats to Nigeria’s democratic governance.
