EFCC Returns 14 Recovered Assets To Enugu Governor, Mba

Olukoyede disclosed that these assets, which include real estate, radio and television transmission equipment, and medical facilities, were initially forfeited to the Federal Government. The EFCC had launched investigations into the matter as far back as 2007, leading to the conviction of individuals involved.

The decision to return these assets to the Enugu State Government was made following a request by President Bola Tinubu, demonstrating the federal government’s commitment to facilitating the return of recovered assets to their rightful owners.
