Ireporteronline reports that Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, was represented by his Deputy, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, at the grand event on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Among the notable attendees were former Governors Sule Lamido, Ibikunle Amosun, and Olagunsoye Oyinlola, who joined family, friends, and political associates in celebrating the elder statesman.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar also extended his heartfelt congratulations to Obasanjo, acknowledging his unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s unity and development. In a statement via his handle, Atiku described Obasanjo as a “rare gem and a precious gift to the nation.”
