Naija News reports that the Obidient Movement had listed Dokubo as a member of its Supporting Advisory Council. However, in a statement issued on Wednesday night, she clarified that she was not consulted before her name was included.

As the LP chairman in Rivers State, Dokubo reaffirmed her loyalty to the party’s leadership under Barrister Julius Abure. She stated that accepting a role within the Obidient Movement Advisory Council would conflict with her responsibilities within the Labour Party.

She also expressed concern over actions that could create divisions within the party, emphasizing the need for unity and reconciliation. Echoing the stance of LP National Chairman Julius Abure, she stressed the importance of maintaining cohesion within the party.

Requesting to be excused from the advisory council, she expressed hope that understanding would prevail.

“My attention has been drawn to a list circulating on social media, allegedly released by the Obidient Movement Advisory Council, in which my name was included as a member of the Supporting Advisory Council.

“I want to make it clear that I was not consulted before my name was added.

“I also want to emphasize that I serve as the Chairman of the Labour Party in Rivers State, under the leadership of Barrister Julius Abure.

“Given my current role, I cannot take on the responsibility of being a member of the Supporting Advisory Council of the Obidient Movement Advisory Council,” she stated.
