He stressed that combating corruption requires efforts beyond the capacity of any single entity.

To foster collaboration, the chairman announced plans to engage with various stakeholders, including the media, other anti-corruption organizations, civil society, the commercial sector, foreign allies, and individuals. Notably, he expressed a commitment to leveraging technology to enhance the anti-corruption process.

Leading by example, he stated, “I’ll lead by example. By the grace of God, I intend to be appearing in cases of ICPC (in court).

I don’t think there was ever a chairman of ICPC who appeared in court, but I’ll be the first.” He emphasized his deep commitment to realizing a vision for Nigeria where principles of integrity, accountability, and transparency are ingrained in society.

The chairman highlighted the active efforts to enhance inter-agency collaboration, citing a recent visit to the EFCC.

By joining forces and sharing resources, the ICPC aims to intensify the collective fight against corruption, fostering a more transparent and accountable Nigeria. Collaboration with the EFCC, the CCB, and the NFIU is expected to increase.
