According to ireporteronline, Sanwo-Olu has since suspended Ajetunmobi over the post. However, Inibehe emphasized that suspending Ajetunmobi does not address the grave allegation of extrajudicial killings. He called for a thorough investigation into Ajetunmobi’s claims, urging TVC to also support the probe.

Inibehe stated on his X handle, “Suspending Wale Ajetunmobi does not resolve the serious confession he made regarding extra-judicial killings. This matter must be investigated by law enforcement agencies, and Ajetunmobi should be taken into custody immediately. He clearly confessed that those responsible for burning the TVC station were tracked down and killed.”

Inibehe also questioned the lack of updates on the investigation of the TVC arson, calling for transparency from the Lagos State Government and the Lagos State Police Command. He demanded to know the identities of those arrested in connection with the attack and whether anyone had been formally charged.

Inibehe concluded, “We cannot allow a situation where the government or those close to the political class act as executioners. The judiciary, not anyone else, has the constitutional authority to determine guilt.”
