Initially set to begin on Friday, January 31, the delay allows JAMB to implement critical adjustments to its registration process. The Board’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, made this announcement via its official X handle on Friday.

According to the statement, the postponement follows recent suspensions of certain law programmes in select universities by the Council for Legal Education. Additionally, JAMB uncovered that some Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres had secured approval through fraudulent means, prompting the need for further verification and disqualification of such centres.

JAMB apologised for any inconvenience caused, assuring candidates and stakeholders that the additional time would ensure a more seamless registration process.
