Speaking to the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream II corps members in Katsina on Thursday, Ahmed confirmed that the pay increase is included in the 2025 Federal Government budget and will take effect once the budget is approved.

“Since January is already over, the new allowance will begin next month (February) as soon as the budget is passed,” he stated.

He reassured corps members of the government’s commitment to their welfare and security, emphasizing that they would not be posted to unsafe areas. “Wherever we deploy corps members, they can be assured it is a secure location,” he added.
