Earlier reports depicted scenes of unrest as students reacted to NDLEA’s sting operations, which came shortly after similar actions by EFCC agents targeting students with expensive possessions. However, the swift intervention of KWASU’s management has diffused the situation.

Contrary to rumors circulating on social media, the university assures that no lives were lost during the unrest. In a statement signed by Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee, the Registrar, KWASU emphasizes its commitment to providing a safe and conducive environment for learning.
