Lamine Yamal Won’t Join Real Madrid’ – Mourinho Makes Bold Prediction

Real Madrid coach José Mourinho has ruled out the possibility of signing Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal, despite acknowledging the teenager’s impressive qualities.

According to Ireporter Online, Mourinho described Yamal as a very talented player but insisted that Real Madrid already possess enough quality within their squad.

Fabrizio Romano quoted Mourinho on X on Thursday as saying, “I won’t sign him. We already have the best players.”

Yamal has established himself as one of the most exciting young talents in world football since breaking into Barcelona’s senior team. His performances for both club and country have continued to attract widespread attention.

However, Mourinho made it clear that Yamal’s quality would not lead Real Madrid to pursue a transfer for the Barcelona star.

The Portuguese manager also discussed the arrival of Yan Diomande, revealing that although he did not personally request the signing, he was keen for the club to bring in the young winger.

Mourinho said, “No, I did not ask, but I wanted him. He’s a great player who can play on both sides.”

Diomande’s versatility is expected to provide Mourinho with another attacking option as Real Madrid prepare for the new campaign.
