Motorcycle Thief Arrested After Father Reports Him In Kaduna

In an unexpected turn of events, the Kaduna State Police Command successfully apprehended a suspect involved in motorcycle theft, thanks to a vital tip-off from an unlikely informant—the suspect’s own father. According to Hassan, the breakthrough occurred on March 29 when the father of the suspect, identified as Sani Nafiu, came forward with information regarding his son’s suspicious possession of a motorcycle believed to have been stolen from Abuja. Acting swiftly on this crucial lead, police operatives promptly apprehended Nafiu, a resident of Tijjani Kaya quarters in Giwa Local Government Area.

Subsequent investigations revealed a more alarming aspect of the case, implicating Nafiu in a violent altercation where he allegedly stabbed the motorcycle’s rightful owner, Mr. Shamsu Jamilu, a resident of Danja in the Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory. Hassan explained that following the altercation, Nafiu seized the unconscious victim’s motorcycle.

With Nafiu now in custody and the stolen motorcycle recovered, the police are diligently gathering evidence to build a robust case against the suspect. Hassan assured the public that upon the conclusion of the investigation, Nafiu would face prosecution for his alleged crimes.
