Musawa Congratulates New Alaafin Of Oyo

The Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, Barrister Hannatu Musa Musawa, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to the newly crowned Alaafin of Oyo, His Majesty Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade, on his installation as the 46th Alaafin.

In her congratulatory message, the Minister emphasized the importance of the coronation and the presentation of the staff of office, which symbolize the epitome of traditional leadership and cultural heritage in Yorubaland.

She offered prayers for wisdom and a long, prosperous reign for the new monarch.

“I express my warmest congratulations to His Majesty, the new Alaafin of Oyo, on his ascension to this esteemed throne.

“This monumental occasion marks a new chapter in the illustrious cultural heritage of the Oyo Empire, and I am privileged to acknowledge the Alaafin’s role as a guardian of Yoruba traditions and values.
