Information Minister Leads Agency Heads At Broadcasters Conference In Las Vegas

In a bid to enhance collaboration within the broadcasting sector and establish strategic partnerships, Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, has headed a delegation of government agency leaders to the 2025 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Conference and Workshop in Las Vegas, USA…READ MORE…

Taking place from April 5 to 9, the NAB event is themed “The Technology, The Trend, The Future” and will address a variety of subjects, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud visualization, the creator economy, and sports production and streaming.

The Minister is accompanied by prominent Directors-General and CEOs from key Nigerian broadcasting agencies, including Comrade Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos, Director-General/CEO of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA); Mr. Ali Muhammed Ali, Managing Director/CEO of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN); Charles Ebuebu, Director-General/CEO of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC); Dr. Lekan Fadolapo, Director-General of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON); and Mallam Jibrin Baba Ndace, Director-General/CEO of Voice of Nigeria (VON).

The NAB Conference attracts thousands of industry leaders from around the globe, providing a unique opportunity for the Nigerian delegation to seek new partnerships, participate in content-sharing initiatives, and gain insights into emerging trends and technological advancements. These initiatives are aimed at fortifying Nigeria’s broadcasting sector by fostering collaboration, enhancing training programs, and promoting technological innovation within the industry.
