NCAA Shocks Aviation Industry – 10 Private Jet Operators Suspended For Violating Regulations!The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has dropped a bombshell by suspending the licenses of 10 private jet operators for failing to commence the mandatory recertification process.
Details Released:
- The announcement, made by NCAA’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Michael Achimugu, highlighted that these operators ignored the Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations 2023 Part 18.3.4.
- This regulation strictly prohibits Permit for Non-Commercial Flights (PNCF) holders from engaging in commercial operations, including transporting passengers, cargo, or mail.

Enforcement Measures:
- The NCAA has deployed officials to General Aviation Terminals (GAT) and private wings of airports to ensure strict compliance.
- Any PNCF holder caught violating these regulations will face severe enforcement actions.
