During a press interaction amidst an inspection of facilities at the nearly completed NDLEA barracks in Yola, Adamawa state, Marwa underscored the significance of President Tinubu’s continuous dedication to the fight against the drug menace.

“We thank God for the project, and we appreciate the continuity in governance,” Marwa expressed. “President Tinubu has continued with the same zeal and drive, demonstrating genuine concern towards the NDLEA’s mission.”

Marwa commended the progress achieved in the construction of the barracks, emphasizing the exceptional standard and quality of work undertaken by consultants and contractors. He revealed that the project is nearing completion, with an impressive 95% progress, showcasing exemplary craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.

The NDLEA boss outlined the agency’s ambitious plans to establish barracks across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, ensuring equitable distribution and reinforcing the commitment to combat drug-related crimes effectively.
