Niger-Delta Women Urge Perpetrators To Surrender

In a statement released by the President and General Secretary of the group, Mrs. Augusta Wariboko and Dr. Agnes Tari, respectively, the women emphasized the need for cooperation from residents of Okuama and its environs to provide security agencies with vital information to apprehend the culprits.
The group condemned the heinous act, stressing that the sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces of Nigeria for the country should be respected, and such acts of violence are unacceptable and detrimental to peace in the region.
Expressing support for the ongoing efforts to apprehend the leader of the militant group and his accomplices, the women reiterated their stance against the atrocious conduct of the perpetrators, emphasizing that it does not represent the values of the Niger-Delta people.
Furthermore, they endorsed the investigation ordered by the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Chris Musa, to uncover the root cause of the tragedy and bring the perpetrators to justice.
In conclusion, the Niger-Delta Women Professionals reaffirmed their solidarity with Gen. Musa and his troops in their efforts to combat oil theft and restore peace and security in the region.
