In a statement released in Abuja, Fagbemi clarified that Nigeria has shown a consistent commitment to justice, pointing out the military’s adherence to international humanitarian law. He emphasized that Nigeria has conducted thorough investigations into allegations of military misconduct, refuting claims made by some organizations.
The AGF stressed that the ICC should act as a court of last resort and that Nigeria’s judicial system is capable of handling such cases.
