Commissioner of Police, Mr. Abiodun Olamutu, disclosed that among the harrowing exhibits seized from the suspects were a human heart and two kegs brimming with human remains.

The arrested individuals, including Moses Abidemi, Oluwo Monday, Prophet Peter Akiwunmi Ifatosin, Jamiu Yusuf, Sheriff Agbai, and Osojieahen Alioneitoura, were reportedly ensnared in a web of heinous activities, as per Olamutu.

The saga unraveled when the Onipanu Divisional Police Office received a distressing report of a missing lady, Ms. Sulaiimon Adijat, last seen with one Adebayo Azeez on a supposed date.

Launching a swift and intensive investigation, the Anti-Kidnapping Unit uncovered a disturbing plot involving the suspects, revolving around a grisly money ritual called ‘Oshole’ aimed at procuring a staggering N200 million within seven days.

Oluwo Monday allegedly brokered a deal with Agbai and Alioneitoura, charging a hefty sum of N800,000 to orchestrate the ritual. Further complicating matters, he enlisted the expertise of Peter, well-versed in the illicit trade of human organs, to procure the required body parts.

The depravity of the scheme unfolded when Sheriff and Osojieahen journeyed to Edo State, purportedly to retrieve the ritual funds. However, their hopes were dashed when the ritual failed to yield the promised riches.

A subsequent raid of Moses’ shrine uncovered a ghastly array of evidence, including female handbags and sacks teeming with human bones, cementing the nightmarish reality of their deeds.

All suspects have confessed to their roles in the appalling crime, as investigations continue to track down any additional perpetrators still at large.
