of Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, that the APC’s next targets in the South-West were Osun and Oyo, emphasizing their ability to achieve political goals by any means necessary.

In response, the PDP Southwest Executive Council, in a statement issued on Thursday by Zonal Publicity Secretary Sanya Atofarati, called on President Bola Tinubu to rein in Ganduje’s threats. Atofarati warned that the APC’s notorious history of electoral manipulation must not be tolerated and condemned Ganduje’s comments, stating that he lacks the moral authority to speak on issues of credibility and democracy.

The PDP also expressed discontent with the conduct of the Ondo governorship election, accusing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of failures in the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System and delays in election materials. The party called for an investigation into alleged misconduct by security personnel during the election and urged the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to ensure justice.

While commending the efforts of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, and the party leadership during the Ondo election, the PDP urged its members to stay law-abiding and vowed to seek justice through legal means despite alleged intimidation.
