Police Warn Content Creators VeryDarkMan’s Use Of Uniforms Sparks Outrage And Investigation

In an official statement, Force Public Relations Officer ACP Muyiwa Adejobi said, “The Force unequivocally disassociates itself from this unauthorized portrayal and has initiated a full investigation to identify the source of the police gear used and verify the authority behind such actions.”

The statement further emphasized that unauthorized use of police uniforms, insignia, or equipment is a criminal offense under Section 251 of the Criminal Code Law and Section 133 of the Penal Code Law, carrying significant legal consequences.

The Force added, “While the Nigeria Police Force supports the creative pursuits of young Nigerians, we strongly caution against misuse of police symbols.” Such actions, they stressed, undermine the values and integrity of the force and will not be tolerated.
