In a post on his X handle, Amadi criticized the swift resort to arrests for dissenting opinions, likening it to an authoritarian response that indicates a lack of competence in problem-solving.

He stated: “To call @PoliceNG corrupt or to say that IGPs have been corrupt is not a cyber crime. It is a statement that can be false or true and can be challenged. This quick resort to arrest for disagreeable speech seems like authoritarian response for lack of competence to solve problems.”
