In his address marking the second anniversary of his tenure on Wednesday, Adeleke explained that his government had focused on blocking financial leakages and utilizing local content to reduce project costs while maintaining high standards.

The governor emphasized that his administration had remained fair in handling inherited projects, noting that no contractors from his predecessor had been dismissed. He also highlighted his commitment to running a transparent and open government.

“For all our projects and programs, we did not take any loans,” Adeleke affirmed. “We have only worked to eliminate leakages in the state’s finances and have made use of local resources to control costs while ensuring quality.”

Reflecting on his achievements, Adeleke outlined his administration’s five-point agenda, which aims to address key areas of need for the people of Osun State. He expressed his dedication to good governance and promised to complete all ongoing projects in the remaining two years of his first term.

“We will continue to address the infrastructure and social needs of our people, and strike a balance between hard and soft infrastructure,” the governor said. “We will also enhance our consultation and interaction with the citizens, always acting in the public’s best interest.”
