Spyro accused unnamed religious figures of using their faith to mask their deceitful actions. He expressed frustration over the blackmail attempt, which he says followed a confrontation with someone online over a wrongdoing.

In his post, Spyro said, “Don’t be deceived, the biggest scams and liars are the ones at the top of religious ladders. They do evil, quote scriptures to justify their wrongs, and then resort to emotional manipulation and threats. The deception is on another level.”

He continued, “I once called someone out for wronging me, and the next day, that person started quoting scriptures. Now, they are sending me threats, claiming they have a girl who is pregnant for me and threatening to release my sex tape.”

In the same breath, Spyro also threw subtle shade at music executive Ubi Franklin, flaunting his material blessings. During a recent interview on ‘The Link Up’ podcast, Spyro accused Ubi of exploiting his connection with Davido to scam him. He claimed that despite agreeing to pay him $5,000 for a performance, Ubi refused to pay after the event.

Responding to Spyro’s allegations, Franklin claimed that the payment was withheld due to Spyro owing him money. He explained that Spyro was supposed to pay him 10 percent for facilitating his recent car purchase and that the $5,000 was deducted from the amount he owed. Franklin further stated that Spyro still owes him ₦2 million.

In contrast, Spyro took to Instagram again, showing off his material possessions and declaring that God had been faithful to him without taking any percentage. He wrote, “Franklin speaking. Sorry, I mean, frankly speaking, God has been faithful without taking no 10 percent on his faithfulness.”

Spyro also shared some words of advice for upcoming artists, urging them to stay true to their faith. He emphasized that serving God brings true success and peace without resorting to illegal means.
