NiMet has issued a cautionary advisory, urging the public to remain vigilant, especially in areas prone to thunderstorms, where strong winds may precede rainfall. Additionally, the agency emphasized the importance of staying hydrated, particularly in regions with high temperatures.

As part of their safety measures, NiMet recommended that airline operators stay updated with weather reports for effective planning and operational management.

As Nigeria prepares to navigate through the upcoming weather challenges, NiMet’s forecast serves as a valuable guide, enabling individuals and organizations to take necessary precautions and adapt their plans accordingly in the face of potential thunderstorm activities.
