In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu praised Dr. Aina for his remarkable contributions to Nigeria’s development. He highlighted Aina’s impressive career spanning over 30 years, including six years as a bank chief executive.

The President commended Aina’s pioneering efforts in the Fintech sector, describing him as a visionary leader who founded Fintech Associates Limited in 2002.

As a former president of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Aina also played a key role in establishing the Africa Fintech Network, where he served as its founding president. Additionally, he chaired Odu’a Investment Company Limited from 2020 to 2022.

President Tinubu encouraged Dr. Aina to continue his impactful work and wished him divine grace and good health in the years ahead.
