Chigozie, in his post, referred to Obi as the ‘chief mourner,’ criticizing him for allegedly engaging in demarketing Nigeria during his visit to Canada. He mocked Obi for his actions in Canada, suggesting that despite his efforts, he ended up applauding the praises of Nigeria sung by the town’s Mayor.

The criticism stemmed from Obi’s remarks in Canada, where he criticized the failure of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) server during the last presidential election and accused the Bola Tinubu administration of orchestrating smear campaigns against him.

Quoting Chigozie’s post, Onanuga branded Obi as “Bitter Obi” on his official X handle, further perpetuating the narrative of Obi’s alleged bitterness.
