Toyin Abraham Clears Air On Rumoured Feud With Funke Akindele

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has spoken again about her past disagreement with fellow actress Funke Akindele, a development that once generated widespread attention within the Nigerian film industry.

According to Ireporter Online, the actress recalled that the issue reportedly stemmed from an incident at a movie premiere, which at the time led to heightened tensions and public speculation about their relationship.

However, Abraham stated that she is no longer interested in revisiting the matter, noting that she has since chosen to move on from the situation entirely.

Speaking during an interview on the Morayo Afolabi Brown Show, the filmmaker reflected on how social media reactions and public criticism have influenced her approach to handling negative comments over time.

She explained that she has grown accustomed to online criticism, adding that such remarks no longer affect her emotionally in the way they once did.

Abraham further clarified that when she responds to online critics, it is often done in a lighthearted and playful manner, rather than out of anger or hurt.

On the issue involving Funke Akindele, she declined to go into further detail, maintaining that she prefers not to revisit past events or be drawn into comparisons with others.

“I don’t want to talk about it because I don’t like talking about my past with Funke Akindele. I don’t like it when they pitch me with anyone. I just want to be me, Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi,” she said.
