In a statement, Olusegun Daramola, Executive Secretary of the Osun State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS (O-SACA), stressed the importance of protection against HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

“It’s crucial to avoid risky behaviors, such as unprotected intercourse. We urge everyone to get tested and know their status,” Daramola said.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to reducing HIV prevalence in Osun State, aligning with the broader goal of ending AIDS by 2030.

“To support safe practices, condoms and lubricants will be available at selected locations, including malls and lounges. Let’s share love responsibly,” he added.
