Speaking at a recent event captured in a viral clip circulating on social media, Kanayo emphasized the importance of parents questioning their children about the origins of their possessions. He expressed concern that a lack of inquiry from parents could contribute to the development of corrupt attitudes among their offspring.

The actor advised parents to exercise caution, particularly when receiving lavish gifts from their children, especially if their children are not actively engaged in meaningful endeavors.

“Your daughter, aged 20, possesses a phone worth 1.5 million naira, then she offers you 100,000 naira, and you refrain from investigating the source. This negligence could have dire consequences for you. This is a prevalent issue among parents. Your unemployed son arrives home with money or a car, and you choose not to inquire. I am cautioning you,” he emphasized.
