“My son lived in fear throughout his life. It was because of Naira Marley that he did not make his wedding and the birth of his son public. Mohbad was a good man. He never engaged in drug trafficking—I say this with certainty,” she stated during a recent live TikTok session.

She further claimed that Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, was responsible for delaying the DNA test to confirm the paternity of Liam, the singer’s son.

Ongoing DNA Controversy

Expressing her frustration over the ongoing debate, Abosede insisted that she and Omowunmi were ready for the test.

“Jossy is the one delaying the DNA test. We are ready. Wunmi must take the test for Liam’s sake. I know he is my grandchild. When Mohbad was alive, he never questioned Liam’s paternity,” she affirmed.

She also recalled how Aloba had taken pictures with Liam just days before Mohbad’s passing, suggesting that he never had doubts about the child’s paternity.

Denial of Drug Trafficking Allegations

Reiterating her son’s innocence, Abosede dismissed rumors linking Mohbad to drug-related activities, insisting he was a good man.

She also addressed a separate controversy, clarifying that Adura, Mohbad’s brother, was not the one who provided actor Yomi Fabiyi with information regarding the singer’s death. She accused Fabiyi of attempting to frame Adura based on false claims made by Damola, another individual involved in the case.

Meanwhile, Mohbad’s widow, Omowunmi, has also called out Aloba for avoiding the DNA test, fueling further speculation about his motives.

Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, under mysterious circumstances. His body was exhumed for an autopsy nine days later, yet the case remains unresolved as family tensions continue to make headlines.
