In an interview with Silverbird TV, Aloba voiced his frustrations, claiming that he has been left in the dark by Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, and their son since the singer’s untimely demise.

Aloba’s Concerns

The grieving father criticized the lack of communication from Mohbad’s immediate family, stating:

“I’ve not seen Mohbad’s wife and son since his death. They know where I’m living. They should have come to me with the child, saying, ‘This is your grandson.’”

When asked about the resemblance between Liam and Mohbad, Aloba responded emphatically:

“No, no, no. With what I’m seeing, he’s not. If the DNA test confirms he is, I’ll accept it.”

DNA Test Delayed

Aloba revealed he had requested a DNA test, but the process has faced delays. He added:

“I demanded DNA; they should have said, ‘Daddy, do it at your convenience,’ but instead, they’ve been avoiding it. This is why it became a public matter. Let the court decide.”

Adding to his frustrations, Aloba shared that his other son, Adura, who lived with Mohbad before his death, has also distanced himself:

“Adura is now 22 years old, but he hasn’t called or visited me since his brother’s death. It seems some people are shielding him. He should have told me what happened to his brother; they lived in the same house.”
