Kaduna Launches Electric Vehicle Initiative for Workers

At the launch, held at Murtala Square, Kaduna, the Governor’s deputy, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe, highlighted that the initiative addresses transportation challenges while promoting eco-friendly mobility. The government distributed 7,000 motorcycles, with 4,000 of them being electric bikes.

Additionally, Paynacle Digital Services Limited announced plans to set up EV charging stations and maintenance hubs across the state’s three senatorial districts, creating over 2,000 jobs. The program also includes a 50% discount on charging costs for civil servants.

This effort is aimed at improving the welfare of workers and contributing to the state’s eco-friendly transport development.
