In an interview with Nigeria Info FM in Lagos, Daddy Freeze admitted that he initially felt apprehensive but now feels more hopeful about Nigeria’s direction under Tinubu’s leadership. He encouraged Nigerians to be patient with the President’s efforts, noting that the country faces deep-rooted challenges that will take time to resolve.

“I was initially worried, but the work that President Tinubu is doing in the power sector has given me hope,” Daddy Freeze stated. “Nigeria is a complex nation, like an overloaded truck with a faulty engine, and any leadership—like a mechanic—will face significant challenges. However, with the way this administration has managed issues so far, I am starting to believe we can finally find hope in this country,” he added.

He further acknowledged that expecting immediate fixes to Nigeria’s long-standing problems is unrealistic, but praised the progress made under the current regime, indicating that there is now a sense of optimism for the future.
