Edo Mourns As Afemailand Loses Prominent ICON, Mrs Mary Oghoya Ologbosere(CEO Afemai School Of Fashion)

Edo State is mourning one of its most illustrious daughters and foremost fashion Educationist, Mrs Mary Oghoya Ologbosere the proprietor of Afemai School Of Fashion Design.

Mrs Mary Ologbosere a veteran in the Nigerian fashion industry reportedly died in the early hours of Wednesday after a brief illness.

Mrs Mary Ologbosere shaped the face of fashion designing in Edo State and Nigeria as a whole and was a key player in portraying the rich culture of Afemailand both nationally and internationally.

Afemai School of Fashion is one of the oldest fashion schools in Edo state, founded in the year 1987 and later in the year 1989 became registered with the ministry of education.

Afemai School of Fashion and Textile Design has held over 3o matriculations and graduation ceremonies spanning over three decades.

She would be greatly missed by the people of Afemailand as she was a proud ambassador of Edo North.

A devoted Christian who contributed her quota in her lifetime, she will be remembered for her accomplishments in various aspects of life.

She left behind two wonderful children who have made their own mark in their chosen field of career.

Until her death, she served as the CEO of Afemai School of Fashion and Textile Design. She was aged 71.
