Glo Jolly Promo: Real Estate Worker Wins N1 Million

A staff member of a real estate company in Anambra State, Olieh Somtochukwu, has become the first winner of N1m in the Glo Jolly Win promo.

The promo is organised in conjunction with NCC-licensed Nitroswitch, an aggregator company, and Tetragrammaton, a value-added service provider.

Somtochukwu played with N100 in August and became an instant millionaire in the promo draw held in line with the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) procedure.

He was presented with the prize at a brief ceremony held in Lagos on Wednesday.

Highly elated Somtochukwu who travelled to Lagos from Onitsha to receive his prize, could not contain his excitement upon receiving the credit alert for N1m on his phone before the event ended.

He disclosed that, after playing the lottery game, he forgot about it, disclosing that he didn’t believe when he was informed that he won N1m.

“I thought it was a scam when I was called, but on coming here, I can say I am happy with what has happened. I’ve received the alert for the N1m”, Somtochukwu said.

He added that the money came at a time when he needed help to take care of his health challenges.

The Chief Executive Officer of Nitroswitch, an NCC-licensed Value-Added Service aggregator with Globacom, Mr. Chidi Nnadozie, said his organisation was proud to work with the network to bring excitement and rewards to Glo subscribers through the lottery.
