Group Condemns Illegal Weapon Possession Among Taraba Youths

The group also expressed concern over drug abuse and various criminal activities prevalent among youths across the state and the nation as a whole.

Addressing the media on Saturday in Jalingo, the state capital, Victor M. Bulus, chairman of the group, highlighted significant strides in raising awareness about the risks associated with these behaviors.

Bulus explained that the group has been actively engaging with young people in cultist hideouts, brothels, and other areas to educate them on the grave consequences of their actions. He emphasized that these efforts aim to steer youth toward more positive and constructive behaviors.

He credited the commitment and dedication of everyone involved, including team members, community leaders, and grassroots activists, for the progress achieved so far. “These collective efforts have successfully encouraged many youths to make better choices, contributing to the safety and well-being of Taraba State,” he remarked.
